Marvel Collector Corps Subscription Box Review - April 2015

April 2015 Marvel Collector Corps Box

The Marvel Collector Corps is a brand new subscription. It is a joint venture between Marvel and Funko. They promise 100% exclusive items and over $50 value in every box. Products include apparel, accessories and collectibles. There are two programs you can select from during sign-up: Collector Program and Founders Program. Collectors Program is a recurring bi-monthly subscription. The Founders Program is a recurring 12-month plan. With this plan, you will receive an exclusive Founders figure on your one year anniversary. You cannot let your subscription lapse in order to get the figure. I was so excited when I found out about this subscription, I signed up for the Founders Program so I will be able to share at least the first year with you.

Here's a photo of the comic artwork lining the box.

April 2015 Marvel Collector Corps Hulkbuster

Product: Exclusive Funko POP Hulkbuster Iron Man 6" Vinyl Figure
Retail Value: $45.00 (Estimated)

This is an exclusive Funko Hulkbuster Iron Man POP vinyl figure standing at 6" tall. It has great details, good paint job and overall very well made. I can't find the actual retail price, but it is currently estimated to be around $45 based on historical sales average reported on Pop Price Guide. By the way, this vinyl figure is also bobble head!

I have a feeling there will be a pin included with every box with the character of the the featured title.

April 2015 Marvel Collector Corps Patch

Product: Exclusive Marvel Collector Corps Iron-On Patch

Another exclusive product. Personally, I think this iron-on patch would look good on the sleeve of the upper arm or backpacks.

The new line of vinyl toys from Funko's Vinyl Sugar line is called "Dorbz". This super cute figure of Ultron from the Dorbz collection is exclusive to the box.

Retail Value: $15.00 (Estimated)

There are four variations, and subscribers will receive one at random. We got the Avengers Hulk vs Ultron t-shirt, produced by Flop House. It is made of 90% cotton, and 10% polyester. The shirt is of medium thickness, which I think is perfect. Also good to note that it did not shrink after washing and drying.

Final Thoughts: As promised, all of the items in this box are exclusive to Marvel Collector Corps. The estimated value is pretty high because of the exclusive Hulkbuster Funko POP figure, which was the focus of their subscription launch. Overall, this is a great debut box with a good mixture of products. If you are a Marvel fan, I think you'll enjoy the Marvel Collector Corps immensely.
