Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Subscription Box Review - April 2015

As soon as I saw the package, I noticed a change in this month's Petit Vour box. The box texture is matte instead of the usual glossiness, and the pink color is also less saturated and less bright. The stuffing is now shredded kraft paper as opposed to black paper. I'm not sure what prompted the update, but I like it!

The box comes with a card detailing all of the featured products.

Petit Vour April 2015 Lauren B Nail Polish

Product: Lauren B Nail Polish
Retail Value: $18.00 (Full Size)

First of all, this month has been great for me in terms of products with variations. I've been getting all the colors and shades I prefer. I received this Lauren B nail polish in #ImSoLA, which is a deep raspberry pink with blue undertones. The formula is eco- and vegan-friendly, 5-free, and made in the USA.

Product: Petit Vour April 2015 Konjac Sponge Co. Konjac Sponge
Retail Value: $12.00 (Full Size)

I used to live nearby a shop that served konjac in their drinks. They advertised that konjac is good for your skin, so I got it a couple of times. This was 10 years ago, so it is definitely interesting to see this konjac sponge in my Petit Vour box. Even without reading the description, I immediately made the connection of this sponge being beneficial to the skin. If you can eat it, then I figured you can scrub with it! I tried out the sponge and it works really well. My skin looks and feels smooth afterwards. I like that the sponge is all natural with no additives, and works for all skin types (including sensitive skin). Now I'm addicted.

Product: Suntegrity "5 in 1" Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen BB Cream (0.25 oz)
Retail Value: $6.62

The Suntegrity "5 in 1" facial sunscreen received a rating of 1 on EWG. It’s pretty hard to find a good sunscreen with a low rating on the ingredients, so I am excited to start using this cream. It is tinted to prime and provide coverage while acting as a sunblock.
