Petit Vour March 2015 Box Detail Card

The box comes with a card detailing all of the featured products.

Petit Vour March 2015 Box Little Alchemist Cacao and Banana Face Glow

Product: The Little Alchemist Cacao & Banana Face Glow (30 g)
Retail Value: $34.00

The Little Alchemist Cacao & Banana Face Glow is a dry mask with a special blend of super fruits and raw cacao. Key ingredients include Raw Cacao, Banana, Acai Berry, Green Papaya, Zeolite, and Turmeric Root. It is full of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Upon opening it, I was surprised to find that it had a vinegar-esque smell. I was expecting cacao and banana! However, this scent appears to be normal, and the smell changes once activated by mixing the powder with purified water (or your choice of liquid such as yogurt). The detail card listed the price as $32 for 30 g, but the official site sells it for $34, so I adjusted the value to the manufacturer's listing price.

Petit Vour March 2015 Box Juice Beauty Stem Cellular CC Cream

Product: Juice Beauty Stem Cellular CC Cream (0.5 oz)
Retail Value: $11.47

The Juice Beauty brand is very popular in subscription boxes, but this is the first time I received the CC (color correcting) cream. I like that it has SPF since it has been super hot here for the last couple of days, and I can use some sun protection. Desert Glow would have worked better for me, but I can manage using a slightly darker shade.

Petit Vour March 2015 Box Vert Mont Perfumery EROS Wellness Perfume

Product: Vert Mont Perfumery EROS Wellness Perfume (1.5 ml)
Retail Value: $5.00

While I don't always like perfume samples, I really like this EROS Wellness perfume from Vert Mont Perfumery. It has a very refreshing and slightly sweet scent - kind of reminds me of jasmine tea with sugar. It is composed of Jasmine Sambac, Orris Root, Coriander, Red Mandarin, Juniper, Organic Sweet Almond Oil, Organic Jojoba, Essential oils, and Jasmine. It is synthetic-free, and handmade in small batches in the Green Mountains of Vermont.

Petit Vour March 2015 Box Metropolis Soap Co. Lip Butter

Product: Metropolis Soap Co. Lip Butter
Retail Value: $7.00 (Full Size)

I received the Lavender and Spearmint version, and it smells exactly like what it says. The texture is softer than commercial lip butters, and it's also more creamy. Their Etsy shop indicates this lip butter/balm is for men, so I gave it to my husband  (I'm sure anyone can use it though). He likes it fine, but it doesn't fit on his lip balm keychain.

ProductsRetail Value
The Little Alchemist Cacao & Banana Face Glow (30 g) $34.00
Juice Beauty Stem Cellular CC Cream (0.5 oz) $11.47
Vert Mont Perfumery EROS Wellness Perfume (1.5 ml) $5.00
Metropolis Soap Co. Lip Butter (Full Size) $7.00
Total $57.47

Final Thoughts: I like all of the items in this month's box. Three of the four featured products are handmade in small batches, and I'm really happy to discover these brands I otherwise would not have known. The total retail value is $57.47, which is one of the highest in the recent months. If you are looking for a vegan, cruelty-free, and organic or natural beauty subscription box, I highly recommend Petit Vour.
