GLOSSYBOX Subscription Box Review - July 2015

Boxometry GLOSSYBOX July 2015 Review - Box

GLOSSYBOX is a women's beauty subscription box featuring five (sometimes six) products from high quality brands. For $21 a month, the total retail value is great. There are definitely hit or miss items for me in each box, but I have the option of keeping or gifting them since they are usually well packaged.

Boxometry GLOSSYBOX July 2015 Review - Detail Card

The box comes with a card detailing all of the products, tips on how to use them, and the price.

Boxometry GLOSSYBOX July 2015 Review - Hey Honey I Peel Good!

Product: Hey Honey I Peel Good! (0.5 oz)
Retail Value: $29.50

This is a creamy honey peel cream. According to the detail card, it also reduces stretch marks and leaves behind a natural lipid barrier to protect skin. As I've got plenty of face exfoliators and masks, I am actually curious how well it works on stretch marks.

Boxometry GLOSSYBOX July 2015 Review - Cargo Cosmetics Better-Than-Waterproof Mascara

Product: Cargo Cosmetics Better-Than-Waterproof Mascara (0.15 oz)
Retail Value: $9.10

The Cargo Better-Than-Waterproof mascara is water resistant, but can be removed with warm water with gentle pressure so you don't even need eye makeup remover. This is pretty convenient if you are going on vacation. Of course, it can still be used as an everyday mascara.

Boxometry GLOSSYBOX July 2015 Review - Kueshi Anticellulite Booster

Product: Kueshi Anticellulite Booster
Retail Value: $22.60 (Full Size)

The Kueshi Anticellulite Booster is enriched with flavonoids from astragalus root that inhibit the formation of fat cells, and also combats existing cellulite and prevents its formation. It has relatively good reviews, but not everyone found it effective.

Boxometry GLOSSYBOX July 2015 Review - Face Stockholm Lip Liner

Product: Face Stockholm Lip Liner (0.04 oz)
Retail Value: $9.70

Colors will vary by box. The one I received is called Vera, which is cabernet. This lip liner is smooth and easy to apply. I honestly don't use as much lip liners much these days, but they keep showing up in subscription boxes. I think the last time I used it was when I was in high school.

Boxometry GLOSSYBOX July 2015 Review - Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm

Product: Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm
Retail Value: $5.50 (Full Size)

We can always use more lip balms, and I love that this one is 99% organic and 100% natural. It is comparable to EOS, if you've tried it before. You do get a bit of tingle from the peppermint.

ProductsRetail Value
Hey Honey I Peel Good! (0.5 oz) $29.50
Cargo Cosmetics Better-Than-Waterproof Mascara (0.15 oz) $9.10
Kueshi Anticellulite Booster (Full Size) $22.60
Face Stockholm Lip Liner (0.04 oz) $9.70
Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm (Full Size) $5.50
Total $76.40

Final Thoughts: While I won't be using all of the items, I do like the mascara and lip balm. The value of GLOSSYBOX are usually very good, so you do get your money's worth. However, it also depends on how useful the products are. For this month, it's a bit of miss for me since I only received two items that I would actually use.
