I learned about the Fig+Yarrow brand from a different subscription box, so I was happy to try another product from them. This healing salve is a handcrafted balm that can be used on a variety of skin conditions - from dryness to razor burn. It is composed of mostly organic herbs and botanical essences.

The Butterfly and I is a peach colored lip gloss made by Ilia Beauty. It contains ingredients such as organic coconut oil, shea butter and vitamin E to help lips stay soft and moisturized. As a side note, this lip gloss was actually missing from the box when I first received it. I contacted Birchbox, and they shipped out one to me right away. I held off on the review until I receive this item in the mail.

Birchbox Fresh Start Juicy Beauty Handcream and yarok Leave-In Conditioner

The Juicy Beauty brand shows up pretty often in subscription boxes, and I’ve received this hand cream a couple of times. However, I don’t mind getting more of it since it’s useful and I like the green apple scent. It is also composed of organic ingredients, which is always a plus for me. If you are thinking of trying Juicy Beauty products, note that a lot of their products are made for all skin types except sensitive skin.

The yarok brand is another subscription box favorite, and this leave-in conditioner have been featured in other boxes. FEED YOUR ENDS is composed of minerals, vitamins, and essential oils. The purpose of this leave-in conditioner is help to protect the hair from heat and add shine. Since I use a blow-dryer pretty often, this is a useful product to have.

The KOR Aura Water Bottle is made with BPA-free plastic a dribble-free Perfect Sprout™. This water bottle come in two different size, and the one included is the 500 mL version. According to the Birchbox site, the color varies by box. I’m glad I received the pink as that would have been my first choice.

Mullein & Sparrow is another brand I discovered through subscription boxes. I really like their simple design, and their products are composed of almost all organic ingredients. I’m very excited to try out these bath salts! The detail card and the bottle didn’t specify the amount, so I weighed it myself.

Birchbox Fresh Start Vapour Organic Beauty Aura Multi-Use Blush

This multi-use blush can be applied on the cheeks, lips, or eyelids. According to the manufacturer’s site, it is composed of 70% organic ingredients and 30% minerals. In addition, it is free of chemicals, nano particles, and irradiation. I love discovering new organic or natural makeup. Although I don’t use blush often, I can always use this as a lipstick or eyeshadow.

Final Thoughts: The value of this box is $108.54. I paid $33.60 by using the coupon code TAKEOFF20. I am super happy that all of the products included in this box are either natural or organic. Although the Ilia Beauty lip gloss was missing upon arrival, Birchobox took care of the issue right away. I will use every single item in here. In retrospect, I should have ordered two! These are great products and can easily be gifted as well.
