Product: SPUN by Subtle Luxury Speckled Metallic Scarf

This scarf has a light-weight weave, so I am not sure it'll provide much warmth in cold weather. However, I really like the design. It's a simple grey color with speckles of metallic gold that really pops. It will go well with almost any outfit. When I looked up this product, I noticed that it is also available in pink, which I wouldn’t have minded receiving either! The card doesn't specify the color, so there's a possibility in color variations.

I am usually not a fan of gold jewelry. I prefer silver colors such as sterling silver, white gold, or platinum. This necklace is 18K gold-plated. It can be worn long or layered with shorter necklaces. Lately, this necklace has been really growing on me. The simple design makes it versatile - you can dress it up or down.
Product: Canvas Dauville Platinum Bowl (Size Large)

This white porcelain bowl is hand-painted with platinum interior. I think the bowl is pretty, but not something I would normally think about purchasing. We actually ended up finding an interesting use for it. My husband recently started wet shaving and needed a shaving bowl. We looked for one online specific for wet shaving, and most of them look very similar to this bowl and for about the same price. Since I didn’t have any planned use for it, my husband decided to claim it.
Product: Smashbox Be Legendary Long-Wear Lip Lacquer in Bordeaux

Smashbox's Be Legendary Long-Wear Lip Lacquer line is intended to have max staining pigment to stay on all day. This lip lacquer in bordeaux (dark plum) is definitely highly pigmented. I like that it's not too sticky after application. Since the description specified bordeaux, I assume everyone received the same shade.
Product: Knot & Bow Parcel Tags
Retail Value: $4.00
These Knot & Bow parcel tags in blue can be used for any occasion all year long since they are not in holiday specific colors. This isn’t a high value item, but it is something convenient to have. I think it’s also nice to represent an etsy store in the box.
Product: William-Sonoma Cupcake Mix in Vanilla Bean

Yum, cupcakes! The vanilla bean flavor is stated on the detail card, so it can be assumed that everyone received the same version. I don’t bake often, but I don’t mind having some cupcake mix around for the times when I am craving for it. This canister can make a dozen cupcakes.

Final Thoughts: I really enjoyed this month's box. The total retail value adds up to $175.95, which is pretty amazing for a $39.95 subscription. I feel that the POPSUGAR team put a lot of thought into curating the products, and I can use everything that’s included. The December 2014 POPSUGAR Must Have is a definite win for me!
