In addition, all products come with a cashback rebate that can be redeemed at any store carrying the product by using their BerryCart app. This is a value of $10 in cashback rebates. There will also be one produce bonus rebate for box subscribers on apples, bananas, grapes, and more. You can select a monthly plan for $29 or 3-month subscription for $26 a month (both with free shipping).
April marks their very first subscription box. BerryCart Box's philosophy is to pack more value inside than spending extra dollars on fancy packaging on the outside. The clear cellophane wrapper with pink polka dots can also be re-used for gifting, which I think is a great idea and super cute!

Quinoa has a natural nutty flavor, and is good source of B vitamins and folate. These clusters are both crunchy and slightly chewy. I like that they are lightly sweetened.

Simple Squares coconut bar is made out of a few simple organic ingredients: cashews, almonds, honey, coconut, vanilla and sea salt. It's delicious and we like that it's very moist.
The packaging reminds me of Corn Nuts, while the peas themselves resembles Japanese wasabi mame. It's not as flaky as the wasabi mame, and has a bit more substance. However, I don't quite taste the ranch flavor. It's more of a light sweet pea flavor.

I'm not a fan of solid macaroons. I like the fluffy airy style macaroon. However, if you prefer the solid version with lots of coconut and chocolate-y goodness, I would recommend this version as it's organic, non-GMO, vegan, and gluten-free.
Kutoa means "to give" in Swahili. For every bar purchased (including the one from this box), they give a nutrition pack to a child in need. This snack bar is gluten-free, vegan, and does not contain preservatives. It tastes like an energy protein bar. However, I love companies that give back.
My husband ate most of the chips, and thought they are very good. These chips are made out of egg white, and the texture is light and airy with a nice crunch.

Hemp hearts are the most nutritious part of the hemp plant. It has a slight nutty taste similar to sunflower seeds or pine nut. These can be eaten straight out of the bag, or sprinkled on salads, cereal or yogurt. It doesn't have much flavor, but is a good source of protein, omegas, vitamins, minerals and fiber. They are available on Amazon for lower price.

Stevia is a natural calorie-free sweetener, and is a replacement for sugar. The box came with 10 packets at 0.035 oz each.

Final Thoughts: The total retail value of this box comes out to $19.04. This does not include the $10 cashback reward through the BerryBox app because you can not redeem any of the rebate until you make additional purchases. I was under the impression that the box would contain at least $29 (price of monthly subscription) worth of snacks with the advertised $10 cashback reward as an incentive to buy more if you liked them. From my calculations, you actually pay for the $10 cashback.
On the other hand, I think BerryCart did a great job curating a variety of healthy snacks. There is value in trying new brands that I might not have known otherwise. I think this is a great box if you are more interested in product curation instead of just getting a bang for your buck. In addition, BerryCart delivered on their promise of including 4 full-size items.
This is a very new subscription, so I am sure they are still working hard on figuring out products and the market. Overall, this is a good first box with snacks that are both tasty and healthy. I hope their next box is more competitive in terms of value as well, which will make this a perfect snack subscription!
