Boxycharm Subscription Box Review - August 2015

The August Boxycharm theme is "Gorgeous Globetrotter." For $21 a month, Boxycharm has incredible value. The majority of the products included are full-size. I can really appreciate that because I get tired of receiving tiny samples that doesn't really show how effective the product is. It's hard to determine whether I want to buy more of an item when the sample only lasts for a one-time use.

In addition, Boxycharm also features mid to high end brands. When it comes to stuff going onto my skin, I prefer not to use dollar store items. Boxycharm does a great job at curating products each month. From what I’ve been receiving so far, the retail value of each box has been 5x the amount I paid.

Subscription: Boxycharm

What's Included: 4-5 full-size or deluxe-size mid to high end beauty products.

Boxometry Boxycharm August 2015 Review - Detail Card

The box comes with a card detailing all of the items, prices, and instructions on how to use them.

Boxometry Boxycharm August 2015 Review - Coastal Scents Revealed 3 Palette

Product: Coastal Scents Revealed 3 Palette
Retail Value: $19.95 (Full Size)

The retail value of the Coastal Scents Revealed 3 Palette is $39.95, but you can usually find their palettes on sale for $19.95. Many people are fans of the Coastal Scents eye palettes. I received Revealed 2 from a previous Boxycharm box, so I am excited to get Revealed 3 as well for some more color options!

Boxometry Boxycharm August 2015 Review - MicaBeauty Gel Eyeliner

Product: MicaBeauty Gel Eyeliner (3g)
Retail Value: $26.25

The MicaBeauty Gel Eyeliner is very pigmented and applies smoothly. The full size version comes with a built-in application brush. However, Boxycharm was thoughtful enough to include an eyeliner brush (see below) so that solves the problem in case you didn't have one on hand.

Boxometry Boxycharm August 2015 Review - Nios Shield Leave-In Conditioner

Product: Nios Shield Leave-In Conditioner
Retail Value: $26.00 (Full Size)

This leave-in conditioner has SPF 15 to help protect your scalp against the sun. It also contains Moroccan argan oil that helps tame frizz. You can use it year round, but it's perfect for the summer weather.

Boxometry Boxycharm August 2015 Review - So Susan Statement Skin Highlighting Crayon

Product: So Susan Statement Skin Highlighting Crayon
Retail Value: $20.00 (Full Size)

This is a really nice skin highlighter. I love the crayon applicator, but I am still used to using my finger to spread it a little more evenly (old habit from using liquid highlighter).

Boxometry Boxycharm August 2015 Review - Seta Eyeliner Brush

Product: Seta Eyeliner Brush
Retail Value: $16.00 (Full Size)

Convenient brush to go with the MicaBeauty Gel Eyeliner. It is well made and applies nicely. Of course, it passed my tugging test (no hair fell off).

ProductsRetail Value
Coastal Scents Revealed 3 Palette (Full Size) $19.95
MicaBeauty Gel Eyeliner (3g) $26.25
Nios Shield Leave-In Conditioner (Full Size) $26.00
So Susan Statement Skin Highlighting Crayon (Full Size) $20.00
Seta Eyeliner Brush (Full Size) $16.00
Total $108.20

Final Thoughts: Boxycharm continues to deliver incredible value through their monthly boxes. I love the amount of full size products (4 out of 5) included. I don’t know how Boxycharm does it every month, but I highly recommend them if you are looking for a beauty subscription box.
