Popsugar Must Have June 2015 - Detail Card

The box includes a fold out card detailing all of the included products and their suggested retail value.

Popsugar Must Have June 2015 - Quay Australia Mandate Sunglasses

Product: Quay Australia Mandate Sunglasses
Retail Value: $45.00

The Quay Australia Mandate sunglass looks like a crossover of Ray-Ban Wayfarer and Oakley Holbrooks. I work at the headquarter of a sports performance eyewear company, so I have a ton of sunglasses with superior lens and impact technology. When it comes to eyewear, I'm pretty picky. It's risky to include items like sunglasses in subscription boxes due to the challenge of personal fit and style preference. Of course, this was the first thing I took out of the box. I was happy to find that it fitted me well and I like how it looked after trying it on. I'm also a fan of matte frames, so this was a great match.

Popsugar Must Have June 2015 - Judy Blume's In the Unlikely Event

Product: Judy Blume's In the Unlikely Event
Retail Value: $27.95

While I love reading, I'm also very particular to specific genres. This book has mostly good reviews, but I am not always up for stories that revolves around a "disaster-stricken town".

Here's the description:

In 1987, Miri Ammerman returns to her hometown of Elizabeth, New Jersey, to attend a commemoration of the worst year of her life. Thirty-five years earlier, when Miri was fifteen, and in love for the first time, a succession of airplanes fell from the sky, leaving a community reeling. Against this backdrop of actual events that Blume experienced in the early 1950s, when airline travel was new and exciting and everyone dreamed of going somewhere, she paints a vivid portrait of a particular time and place—Nat King Cole singing "Unforgettable," Elizabeth Taylor haircuts, young (and not-so-young) love, explosive friendships, A-bomb hysteria, rumors of Communist threat. And a young journalist who makes his name reporting tragedy. Through it all, one generation reminds another that life goes on.

Don't get me wrong, I like a good disaster story with plot twists and turns. However, I'm more of a fantasy, supernatural, action/adventure, or plain romance reader. Unfortunately, this book is not my cup of tea. However, if you are interested in the plot and setting, this book is available on Amazon for around $17.

Popsugar Must Have June 2015 - Pacifica Enlighten Eye Brightening Shadow Palette

Product: Pacifica Enlighten Eye Brightening Shadow Palette
Retail Value: $14.00 (Full Size)

Pacifica makeup products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. These coconut water infused eye shadows are creamy in texture, and help create a creaseless finish. They also smell good! I have a similar palette from Pacifica but don't mind getting more.

Popsugar Must Have June 2015 - Yogitoes Peacock hBand

Product: Yogitoes Peacock hBand
Retail Value: $4.00

This is a peacock patterned hBand. It can be used as a regular headband or as an eye mask during Savasana. It's made of 94% organic cotton and 6% lycra. Although I don’t do yoga, I can definitely make use of it as a headband.

Popsugar Must Have June 2015 - Spongelle Boxed Flowers-Fleur en Boite

Product: Spongelle Boxed Flowers-Fleur en Boite
Retail Value: $16.00 (Full Size)

This body wash infused body buffer made the entire box smell really good! I believe everyone received the Papaya Yuzu version. There are also four other scents available. The first time I used it, it felt a little scratchy (I didn't want to run it under water for too long since it might rinse out too much soap). After about two uses, it got much softer but still provided a good scrub. I like it so far, and makes the entire bathroom very fragrant.

Popsugar Must Have June 2015 - SNAP Infusion Supercandy

Product: SNAP Infusion Supercandy (2 Packets)
Retail Value: $4.00

The SNAP Infusion Sugercandy comes in different varieties. The two included are both gummies. There is a pack of multi-berry, and a pack of sour gummies. According to the card, these candies are packed with B vitamins, antioxidants, and electrolytes. The gummies are coated with sugar, but not overly sweet. They are kind of similar to the multi-vitamin gummy bears.

Popsugar Must Have June 2015 - Sweet & Spark $30 Gift Card & Spongelle Coupon

Product: Sweet & Spark $30 Gift Card & Spongelle Coupon

Sweet & Spark is an online retailer of unique, one-of-a-kind vintage jewelry from flea markets and antique shops. There's no expiration date on the gift card, and it is redeemable online with the unique code.

In addition, the Spongelle box included a 30% off coupon for the entire website. I really like the scented body buff, and it also makes a great gift.

Final Thoughts: I'm glad the sunglass fit well since it's the product with the highest value. Although In the Unlikely Event isn't my type of book, I will still enjoy all of the other items. Overall, the June box has a nice range of products and great retail value.
